QuestionMy husky is 3 years old this year and i was wondering what illnesses do they get as i do not know?
And what age do they live to?
Thank you
AnswerBoth depend greatly, but they are able to get colds and the flu like humans, and then there are a host of canine-specific parasites, infections, etc. It's a wide list, but most healthy dogs, well cared for, vaccinated, etc., will often spend their whole lives without much more than a cold (often characterized by some lethargy, maybe an upset stomach for a few days).
As for age, generally around 12 is a good age for a Siberian, although I've known some that have lived to 18 or 20. Twelve to fifteen years is about average though.
