Question
hey Michelle, my 15 week old pure breed husky gets quight excited and always pee's himself when he see's me in the morning i was wondering if there was anything i can do? he is prity much house trained just the odd accident around where he sleeps in the back kitchen at night. also recently if i give out to him he seems to get quight scaird and he again pees a little. i am the only person living with him and i do not give him any reason to be afraid of me, PLEASE HELP!!

Answer
What he  is doing it called submissive peeing. The only thing you can do is ignore it. Yelling or scolding will make it worse because he will try to be more submissive which means more peeing. Approach him calmly and talk gently. Eventually he will get the idea that he doesn't need to be that submissive to get your love and approval. He isn't really being scared he is paying you great respect as his master it will stop in a few weeks if you remain calm and gentle with him. You can also take his water away a couple hours before bed, it should cut down on the late night potty.
