Answer
Dear Kitty,
You are quite right cats and huskies are not a good mix. I have four huskies. I have one that will kill a cat on sight and I can never trust him, but he would kill a whole pile of small animals, they are all hunting sport to him he even killed my own cat no matter how cautious I was. I have one who will chase a cat but probably not hurt it. Then I have another who is scared of cats as he was belted up by one when he first came in contact with it. Then I have my new pup he is curious but I can already tell he is non aggressive towards the cat. Still the only reason I attempt this is I am very experienced in this breed, but I still acnowledge an accident could happen at any time. So it is not a geat idea to mix the 2. The best way to get a siberian and a cat to possibly mix, is to have an older cat secure in its territory and introduce a young pup dont try this with an older dog it will probably end badly. I hope this has helped you out, feel free to contact me any time for advice.
