Husky - Chewing on Furniture

Hello, I currently have two Huskies a 10 month old male, and a 12 week old female. I was told that by getting another husky that would "cure" my older husky Thor from biting our furniture and destroying our house! Well, upon getting the second one they are still chewing on things... Any thoughts on what I should do?? Would you recommend crate training?

Whoever suggested that getting another dog would cure issues was wrong.  While it can definitely help to redirect energy, correcting behavior issues is never solved by adding more dogs to the environment.  I would definitely suggest crate training and perhaps some bitter apple spray.
