Question
I have a 4 yr old female(Malice) and a 2 yr old male(rok) Siberian Huskies.  They are both breed-able.  I noticed this past week her mood is unlike her.  She eats normally, but sleeps more and spends alot of time in her crate.  Rok has become more protective of her as well. He'll even try to sleep in her crate with her or right in front of it.  He even started growling when I come close to the crarte to coax him out.  I doubt she is pregnant.  She is not showing any signs, especially since her heat was just over 2 months ago.  I am concerned should I separate them, leave it be?

Please help,
worried about them both

Answer
If it was 2 months ago this would be the time she would be having puppies. I would crate him separately. I would get her toys that she can use as babies. If she is going through a false pregnancy she will start crying and whining at you.
