A husky in a small home

Hi I really would like to get a Siberian Husky female puppy in the next year...they are beautiful breed and wont mind walks on cold days plus the winters here are very cold thou this would be an indoor dog anyway. I was wondering right now as I'm living in a basement later I will be in a townhouse or still in this basement....can a siberian husky live in such an enviroment? I am able to walk teh dog before work in the morning and play fetch/frisbee for some time during the weekend and would be able to walk the dog after I've been home from work for a few hours as well....also I still live with my parents so I could enlist my mother to let the puppy out and back in a few times per day while i'm away...my work hours range from 5-8 hours per day during the summer...during the fall tehy are 4-5 hours per day and the winter i am off until ti snows...I do snow removal then...i weork 5 days a week sometimes 6 but again my work hours are never more the 8 hours. I also don't mind a shedding dog and wont mind brushing my dog a few times a week either. please let me know if you think a siberian husky would work for me.

It could.  Keep in mind that they are an extremely active dog that was bred to run 100+ miles per day in the snow while pulling a sled with 15 other dogs that it would probably consider its closest friends.  What this means is that they thrive on activity, social interaction, and are extremely intelligent.  Also, Siberians should never be trusted off lead in an open environment, so fetch and frisbee are generally out.  Add to that that Siberians lack a "retriever" instinct, and only a few Siberian Huskies ever learn to "fetch" and even then it is often on their terms.  If you think you can provide adequate exercise which I would suggest two or three times a day something substantial including runs or bike rides (with the dog on a leash), then a small home, townhome, basement, or apartment can work.
