husky male habit

Question
Hi we have a two year old husky with a strange habit,he pulls up a corner of a blanket and sucks at it for at least 30 minutes is this something the breed does

Answer
This isn't a breed specific trait, but doesn't sound too out of the realm for Siberian behavior.  This could be a weening issue from being a puppy, or it could be that the carpet tastes good.  If this is a problem, I would suggest picking up a bitter apple spray from the pet store.  It has a foul bitter taste that will usually discourage chewing on things.
