Puppie eating top soil

My puppie is 9 weeks old we have had him for a week, i caught hime eating top soil then the next day he spewed it up and it was coming out in his poos when he went, will he be ok he dry reaches sometimes??

As long as your top soil didn't contain any crazy fertilizers, should be fine.  Definitely discourage the behavior, but honestly, dogs eat much worse than dirt.  Often times top soil has some animal fertilizers and canines have a habit of eating animal excrement.  There is an entire evolutionary reason for this, but it is harmless if everything is organic.
