Husky Puppy Exercise

Question
Hi There,
I have a 13 week old Husky puppy who is now ready to explore the world outside the garden! I am just a bit unsure about how much walking I should be giving him at this age? I am obviously aware that this breed needs a lot of exercise, but I am just concerned that I will cause problems if I exercise him too much, too young.
Thanks,

Kate

Answer
You can let a Siberian pup run till they drop. The only thing that you cannot do with a pup that young that will cause problems is pulling and jumping. In jumping I mean flying off the couch, deck or high platform this can damage their joints. Pulling would be if you a training a husky to pull later in life, giving it anything to pull heavier then a pound. But normal running, bouncing, pouncing, digging and chewing won't hurt your dog.
