11 weeks male husky with loose BM

Hi! We got our new baby Boris (Siberian HUsky) last sunday. he was given ProPlan puppy by the breeder but we thought we'd switch to Go! Natural. monday, we gave him half part proplan, half part go!nat, his BM was brown sticky, semi formed stools. tuesday, in addition to 3 times a day feeding, we gave him cherifer 1cc in the morning after feeding him then pedcee in the afternoon feeding. his BM was still the same brown sticky with semi formed parts. yesterday, it was the same. today, my husband gave him dextrose water then when he had his BM which has more liquid and less formed stools. he is active, playful and eats well. we have been giving him banana since tuesday and earlier this afternoon apple. we texted the breeder, he told us to give him batrin 1ml, three times a day. but when i searched the internet, there's no batrin, only bactrim and butrin.

we have a labrador and this has never occured, so we are worried. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Siberians have touchy stomachs. Try giving him yogurt with his food. Just pain with no flavoring. It has stuff i it to help digest. Also how much are you giving him? If you are over feeding this will also cause GI problems. Cut back on all his feedings by half a cup and see if this helps, or only feed him 2 times a day at the regular amounts. When switching to a better quality food, it has more nutritional value to it and not as much needs to be fed. This leads to more poop as the body dumps what it doesn't need.

Labs usually have cast iron stomachs and nothing fazes their GI tract so that isn't a fair comparison. Also a Siberian needs less food per body weight then a lab because of their low/normal thyroid. Keep this in mind also. This was so they would have to haul less on long trips, because the dogs ate less, for the maximum amount of work.
Try this out for 4 days and see if this works if not get back to me.
