Question
I have just obtained my first husky pup as a gift(silly)I have not done enough research yet!
Anyway is it normal for them to be unstable or a little wobbly on their feet? Also everytime he gets picked up he squeals like he's frightened now but didn't the first couple days he doesn't seem to be hurt.

Answer
Hi Vanessa,

Getting a husky as a gift isn't a good idea.  The reason why is because this breed isn't for everyone.  You really need to start doing your research on this breed and decide if he is the right dog for you.  When I got my first Siberian Husky, I didn't know what to expect and oh was I surprised how much a handful huskies are.  So please do your research on this breed so you know what to expect and know if you can handle a breed like this.

How old is the puppy?  Usually by 6 weeks, puppies are able to walk just fine even run.  He shouldn't be wobbly on his feet at all.  When they are still young things can frighten them easily, especially if they aren't use to the toys.  If you think he is having a serious health problem with his mouth or other body parts, I would recommend taking him to a veternarian to get check out.

I hope this answers your question, if you have anymore questions please ask,

Thank you and Good Luck,
Laura

P.S. Congrats on your new puppy!
