7month old big baby

Question
We have had our husky for almost 5 months now. We have tried crate training
where she love her crate by putting all toys, food, treats in there. She hates
it. We have to chase her around the hose and trick her to go into the crate.
Once she is in she barks some but then quites down and goes to sleep. When we
tell her "go in your house" nothing happens. She avoids the crate all the time.
She would rather lay on the floor or couch with her toys and fall asleep than to
lay in her crate.  She is house trained and gets tons of walks and exercise
every day. When she is in the crate and she sees me or my husband she barks so
loud and noisy we have to put a blanket over the crate so she can't see us and
then she stops barking. We just want the dog to like going in the crate and to
stop being chased around the house before she goes in the crate. We have a wire
crate now and she bites its, paws at it and tries to get out of it. Kinda like a
kid throwing a temper tantrum not wanting to go to bed. Can you help?

Answer
The only way to get her to accept it is put her in there weather she likes it or not. She will come to tearms with it sooner or later. Instead of putting a blanket over the crate so she cannot see you get a spray bottle 1/3 white vinager and reast water and spray her with it when she barks. All this sounds like to me is she has your number and knows how to get her way. Give a command 1 time then make her do it, but put yourself in a position where she has to listen before you give the command. Like put a leash on her, then say "get in your house" then put her in the crate, then do something like feed her in her crate.
You will also have to do things like no toys outside of the crate, give her her daily feedings in the crate. No treats unless she is in the crate. she might go on a hunger strike. But still only feed her in her crate. Once she accepts the crate, then you can give her treats at will but never stop feeding her meals in the crate.
