husky shepher mix

Question
I have a 13 week old husky shepherd mix who weighs 19 pounds.  I was wondering if that is normal for this age?  Do you have any idea how big, based on current weight, my dog may get?

Answer
Whenever you have mixed breeds, it becomes very difficult to assess and predict, as some dogs pick up size traits from one half or the other, and sometimes they spike in either direction.  For a purebred Siberian, that's definitely on the large side of things, and I would expect the dog to triple that weight or more over the next year.  Round about guess - 100 lbs. at full grown.
