Question
Hi I have 2 beautiful male huskies...Takota who is almost 4yrs and Nico who is a little over a year. I adopted Takota almost 2yrs ago , he was labled as an escape artist but I had done alot of research on the bread and decided to give him a chance we  have a six foot tall privacy fence that he scales like a cat...I have put him on chains that he gets off of (no clue how because there heavy duty and always intact)We purchased nico just so he would have a pack mate ,  I guess since we have had nico since he was a pup he doesnt try to escape just whines and howles and cries when his brother gets out. When I let nico in the house after takota has escaped all he does is pase and whine...the only time he is quite is when I crate him and that doesn't last very long...I have gotten fines because of takota getting out and getting into other peoples back yards with thier dogs(usually females)and of course they are startled to see a strang dog in their fenced back yards...so I am seriously debating on giving him to a husky no kill shelter because it is so heart breaking and expensive to handle anymore I feel like I have tried everything ...He was so mistreated and kept in kennels most of his life from what I have learned he has had 4 owners and was at a nokill shelter for a year of his life (wich was shut down last year for animal abuse)I am so torn on what to do ..I can't handle my escape artist but when he is not here my other one has seperation anxiety...what should I do?

Answer
Have you tryed putting an electric fence on the top of your 6 foot fence. There is also something that is more humaine called Coyote Rollers you can read up on them at
http://www.coyoteroller.com/
I know it says it keeps stuff out of your yard, it also keeps your dogs in.
