husky behavior

i have my husky for 9 years very affectionate and playful,2 days ago i came home and he came to greet me as i went to pet him he shrieked uncontrollably and seemed petrified to see me and that behavior has not changed he is not aggresive towards me but seems very frightened i have never hit my dog and we spend alot of time playing .i took him to the vet and pyhsically nothing is wrong,yet he seems scared?what can i do?

That is really unsuall... did someone break into you house or something while you where gone? Your best bet is to let your dog come to terms with you again on his own. Don't corner him and do not try to pet him. Even if he come to you for a while. What ever happened to him it was bad enough for him to be freaked out. Trust your dog and give him time.
