Occassional weird behavior

Question
Hey there,

There is one thing weird my female husky does (she's about 1.5yrs old).  We have two huskies and they are definitely close to one another and they wrestle and play lots.

However after exercise or when it's nap/sleep time and they are laying down if the male touches the female at all she really gets upset.  She won't bite but she'll growl (not a teeth bearing growl) or she'll kinda bark or do an upset husky moan.

She same will happen in the car as well if he puts his body on hers or we've found out when friends were drunk if you kinda put a little weight on her back or something (almost like clastrophobia) she gives the same reaction.  I know it's not painful.

Just wondering did something happen to her whens he was young perhaps?  Because she certainly doesn't mind hugs and a squeeze but if that male touches her at all when she's laying down you hear about it.  Or even if one of us accidentally rolls over during sleep time you'll hear about it for sure.

Hopefully I conveyed the situation clearly.

Answer
Sounds like a normal dog who is protecting their space.  Not a big deal, and if the growling isn't aggressive (no teeth or snarling), just look at it as a "Hey! I'm right here!!!" type thing.  Some dogs are more vocal than others and communicate a lot in this manner, some don't.  Still, others have their "issues" and it sounds like this is hers.
