Question
My 1 year old husky has had this bad habit of tipping over her water bowl and playing in it. I have tried different types of bowls and feeders, but she still finds a way to make a huge mess. I can't be in there with her every time she drinks to correct her either. can you suggest any specific water dish or perhaps have any other suggestions?

Answer
Hi Jennifer,

I remember these days.  It is very frustrating and she will grow out of it sooner or later.  You can try to a feed and store dog dish.  There is no way she can tip that over. I really enjoy the feed and store since it keeps the dishes in one place and I can store the food in the base. There are also no spill pet bowels that Petsmart sells, but I have never tried it so I don't know how well it works.  Another suggestion is to fill her bowel only half way or less with water.  If she isn't drinking much of it and just playing then she doesn't need a fill bowel of water until she gets over playing in the bowel.

I hope this helps.  If you have anymore questions, please ask.

Thank you,
Laura
