husky coat

hi, my dog is ten months now, she is a mix of a husk and a yellow lab. about a week ago her hair started to fall off. is pretty bad. i was wondering is this is normal?
it started on her back.

When Huskies shed, also called blow because the coat falls out in chunks, the whole coat starts to drop out almost all at once. This is normal as long as there is hair replacing the hair that is falling out (it won't be as long as hair leaving but you shouldn't be able to see the skin). If you are really concerned and you can see the dog is bald in areas, please see your vet.
