Preparing for my Siberian

Question
Hi, I've been reading through the many questions you have answered; I had a specific questions regarding the food to feed a 8 wk old pup. I am waiting on a Female siberian, fron Karnovanda Kennels, from Judy. I'm planning to feed innova puppy dry food, but Im open to other brands; California natural, Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul, etc. Does the brand of food really depend on how my pup will react to the food? digestively. Thanks a bunch

Answer
Each dog is different, and my recommendation is to continue with what Judy has been feeding, and then slowly migrate to whatever you want the dog to move to eating.  I use ProPac, a brand produced close to where I live and has good fat and protein content for the breed.  Judy also usually recommends a spoonful of raw meat (hamburger usually) as her dogs can have a persistent digestive problem without it (especially when younger).

I'm sure your dog is related to my two fairly closely . . . I haven't seen Judy in a few years, but I usually end up watching some of her dogs when they come to Kentucky for the Kentucky cluster of dog shows.
