socializing new dog to pack

Question
I have a rescue husky about two years old. I want to socialize her with my other three dogs, who are smaller. I am concerned that she could hurt them since she is much bigger. I have her in a separate yard for now. I have considered the possibility of getting a muzzle for her. Any suggestions.?

Answer
A muzzle isn't a bad option if you are concerned about her being aggressive.  Generally, meeting the dogs individually, in a neutral setting is a good option, and then slowly introducing the dog with supervised play time/interaction.  Build these in to progressively longer sessions and work from there.  Small scuffles are to be expected and tolerated, although you will have to be quick to intervene in the event things get more physical or dangerous.  Generally, avoid feeding or giving treats when together (unless they are small bite size pieces) and always make the dogs "earn" the rewards.  I've also noticed that introducing a new dog to a pack on walks or during another activity is generally helpful.
