Siberian Husky Puppy / Fur

I have a 5mo old Husky and his coat is very fine not like the thick coat that I've been used to in puppies before...is this common and will this fill in thicker as he grows or is this just another side of a Siberian??

A 5 month old pup still has some growing to do, and it is not uncommon for the undercoat to be very thin at this point, especially if you live in a warmer climate (not to mention that if you live in the Northern Hemisphere, you are just getting out of summer).  You should see it thicken up some as the pup gets older and the weather cools off some.
