anaesthesia and teeth cleaning

Question
I have a 6 year old spayed female husky and my vet suggested having her teeth cleaned.  Well to make a long story short I let her do it and now I wish I hadn't.  Not sure what the deal is but for about 7 days after the procedure my Sibe, was drinking lots of water and laying around a lot.  She is normally very active and walks 2-3 miles a day.  She now walks about a mile and is ready to quit.  The last 3 or 4 days she has been drinking the water more normally than when she first got back from the vet.  We do live in Texas and it is hot, could this be a combination of the 2 things the heat and the anaesthesia?  Does it usually take Sibes this long to get over the effects of anaesthesia?  Or do you think the anaesthesia caused some kidney problems?  She doesn't seem to be urinating more than she did before.

Thanks for you time...

Answer
It is probably the heat, it usually only takes a day to recover from the anaesthesia. I do know it drys their mouth out bad just being out and having their mouth open for so long. She could just be keeping it extra wet so she don't have that feeling lol!

Any mor Q's please ask!
