Question -
Hello. Me and my husky have been together for 3 years now. I love her to death. i am currently in college and my parents have been lookingn after my dog, but now they have to move away to India. I dont think I can take care of her because i will be living in dorms. :( :(. I really love her! She has allergies and behavioral problems. I dont want to give her up to the humaine society. I am not sure who will be willing to adopt her. :(. My mother mentinoed if my dog can live in India. Can a husky live comfortably in India, in the hot temperatures? please let me know. if not. i am afraid i have no choice but to give her up, :(. Thank you for yourt time!

Huskies should live comfortable in India.  It all depends on the enviroment over there.  The weather shouldn't be a problem.  You need to make sure there is a lot of the dog to roam in a yard or in a house.  What they do with there animals when they ran away.  Since Huskies are runners and escape artist.  I know you don't want to get rid of the dog, but how easy is it going to be to get her back from India when you finish college? You can try giving her to a rescue place.  One that specialist in Huskies.  They will take good care of her and find her a great home.  It is hard to give up an animal that you love to death, but you have to do what is in the best interest for the dog.  Sometimes it isn't what you want to do.  I have had to give up animals because of where I lived (in apartments).  I hope this helps you make the right choice.  If you have any more questions please ask.

Thanks,
Laura

With her problems you can try an animal rescue.  It isn't a shelter.  A lot of the people that ran the animal rescue do it out of their homes.  They find them a nice family that will abopt her.  Even with her problems, I know she will find a home.  If you want to keep her and risk the move to India, you don't have to worry about putting her in a shelter or a rescue.  I don't know how the enviroment there is going to be with her allergies and if they will have the medication for your dog.  You might want to do some internet research on the type of hospitals or care they have there for animals before making up your mind.  If you want to get rid of her than I can help look for a rescue place that will take her in and place her in a new family.  I know this is hard, but whatever choice you make will be for the best.  Just do the research on India and what type of care they have over there for animals.  If you don't feel comfortable with this, than get back to me.  Also check to see if they have shelters or something over there if the dog gets lost, since Huskies get lost a lot.  I hope this leads you in a better direction.  Any other questions please ask.

Thank you,
Laura

I will look from some places.  I will need to know where in Michigan you are located to determine the best place.  Good Luck on your research about India.
