Question
i got a question... are huskies protective over little kids; because when i was younger my aunt had one and whenever my cousin and i would go outside it would follow us and watch over us all the time.

Answer
As a general rule, Huskies are very non-territorial and not protective.  However, they also have a strong "pack instinct" and will protect and watch over their own pack if they have that inclination.  Also, it's entirely possible that the husky was watching you to see if it could play with the "little people."  They are an extremely playful breed and definitely look for new opportunities all the time to entertain themselves.

Of course, I speak in generalities as a breed, but I have met some Siberians who were very territorial and willing to defend that, so it's always dog dependent.
