Hukies with small dogs

Question
I've heard that huskies aren't good with small pets. I currently have a jack russell. While, in size, jack russell's are considered small dogs I feel like their temperment matches that of a medium-large dog. My jack russell is very energetic and playful and enjoys roughhouse with our neighbor's labrador. So my question is, do you think adding a husky puppy to the family would be too dangerous for my jack russell? I was hoping that introducing the husky to the jack russell at such a young age would help the process, but I don't want to put my current dog in danger.

Thank you.

Answer
As with many things, it all depends on the dogs.  However, Siberians are usually really bad with small animals, but dogs, even smaller ones, they are generally better with, especially if you introduce the dog to the Sibe at a very young age for the Siberian.  It all has to do with the canine language, and Sibes are pack animals, and generally like other dogs, even smaller ones.  My general advice is to definitely supervise all interactions, and keep the dogs separated for a while until you see how they play together.
