siberian not shedding

Dear michelle
I live in southern africa and i own a siberian. The seasons changed over here and temberatures are rising for summer. By now, my siberian would have started shedding her winter coa in the past, but now there is no shedding whatsoever. What am I to do? I considered shaving her but i know her coat protects her from the heat and i've never shaved my dog, ever. She is getting really hot. Any suggestions?

This year a lot of weird things have been happining because of the weather pattrens being so weird. I am sure her coat will shed out then she is ready to drop it. Please do not shave her, this will damage the coat and it might not grow back at all. I will just give her plenty of shade and pleanty of water. Giving her a warm bath might help the coat to start coming out.
