Question
hi my name is ayla iam in the 7th grade and iam doing a project on huskies and i was woundring are they nice, are they hard to train, do they shew on things when there little?

Answer
Ayla:

They are great animals, but very active.  As a rule, they were bred to be very friendly - as often times they were traded between people, so they had to love everyone.  As for training, they are considered "high-drive" dogs, which means they do well at activities, but they are also very stubborn.  Training a husky to sit, stay, roll-over, etc can be difficult, but training it to pull a sled with a team of 11 other dogs through snow and obey sledding commands is what they were bred to do.  They do, like any active dog, need outlets for their energy, and if they are bored - chewing is something they definitely do.
