Question
I have a 12 week lab/huskie mix puppy that I adopted  from a shelter. I also have a 1 1/2 year old boxer. They seem to get along very well but sometimes their play gets a little rough and aggressive. I was wondering if i should intervene when there play gets to that point and seperate them?  They don't seem to have any other issues. We also run my boxer with the
bike and upon reading your advice it appears that would also be good for my pup. At what age can you start that kind of excercise?

Answer
Dear Stephanie,
This is typical pack order being established. I would just let them go to it and get it over with. You interfearing will only draw it out, let them decide them selves usually no one wil get hurt because one will back down probably the pup. This kind of behaviour should diminish once they determine who is the boss.
As for biking your dog always use a harness never a collar, and you cannot do it before 9 months as you may risk hurting them. It is very good excercise and keeps a dog in great shape.
Hope this helps.
