in process of breeding my female husky

Question
I just had a male husky dropped off at my house to breed with my female. the vet said this is the best time to do the breeding. she is very receptive and is turning her back end to him and when he mounts, she moves her tail to the side. however, he will stay mounted for a matter of seconds and looks like he just falls to the side, almost as if he doesn't have the stamina. is the normal? It has only been about an hour since they were introduced in the pin together. what tips to you have to ensure the breeding takes place? Thank so so much, we are so excited to have these pups, and the vet said she is in perfect health and we have gone thru all the proper steps to ensure that. Im just worried that it wont take place and all our time and money will go to waste. any suggestions would be amazing. thanks again.

Answer
Just to be sure on the health checks you did and the Sire's owner did.
OFA - hip dysplayshia

CERF - check for cataracts you need to take your dog to a licensed animal ophthalmologist.

Thyroid- Make sure it is functioning properly. If not she might not be able to carry a litter and pass a bad thyroid on.

Check for STD's yes dogs even have them the most serous and deadly one is
brucellosis

This STD can infect humans also.

She might show flagging and such but if the male doesn't get excited enough to breed her he is ether 1 inexperienced and a young male who isn't 100% interested in breeding yet. 2 She isn't ovulating so she isn't ready. You can always go get her A.I. ed by the vet if you do some pedestorone test by the vet.

Any more Q's please ask.
