siberian husky ears

Question
Hello,
I have a siberian husky that had two floppy ears when I purchased him at 7 weeks but within a week or so both ears began to stand and relatively quickly, with in about 2 weeks both ears were standing.  Now, he is about five months old and his ears are still standing nicely but the tips of the ears are slightly bended and his ears are still rather soft, is this how they are going to stay or should I expect any changes?  From my experience with huskys they usually have nice thick ears, is this something that develops with age? And is there anything that I could do about the bent tips?

Answer
I am very sorry for my delayed response to your question. My phone company decided to sever my internet completely and would not reconect it for over a week.
In answer to your question husky pups from about 10 weeks or so exhibit very pointy ears. They can go through stages where their ears will stand and then fall and this can happen quite a few times. Every now and then though some pups ears do not get that characteristic pointy look, and I would say at five months old it is probably here to stay. The ears actually vary with individual dogs for thickness depending on each dogs fur coverage.
I hope this helps.
