Question
Hey Marcus,

I wanted to ask.

is it normal for my husky to urinate when she gets scared of people?

and if its normal for my husky to urinate when she is REALLY happy?

Example: My cousin is just walking by and she try to get away or she just urinates. Hes about 5'9 300lbs.
im not sure if height or weight matters.

Example 2: I left her with my girlfriend so she can watch her while i was at work. and when i went from work to see her she got super happy and i guess urinated cause the floor where she was...was wet.

if you can let me know if that is normal please =D

that would be great.

and thanks for all your help.

Answer
Yes, this is called submissive urination and is common, especially in puppies and especially in females.  Being gentle and calm when greeting people can help.  Also, when happy, this is also common.  Basically, it's a sign of excitement in general.

The more even keel you make this situations, the less it will happen.
