Question
Hi, its the 3rd week since i bought my 12 weeks old female husky home. She is toilet trained and knows that if she pee and poo in the toilet, she'll get a treat. but why sometimes she just love to pee and poo at the other place? how can i do to stop her doing that?

I feed her with lamb and rice, but why is her pee and poo smells and have very strong body odor? is it okay for me to bath her twice a week?

She greets everyone in the house when we got home but except for my dad because he spent alot of time at work. But when my dad is free he would play with her too and sometimes he will give her treats as well, but why still she won't greets my dad when she got home? what else can i do?

She doesn't bite stuff like furniture, so is it still consider dangerous for me to leave her alone uncaged when no one is at home? i tried a few times already, the only thing that she destroy is just a page or 2 of the newspaper and that all!

Answer
I can't tell if the dog is 12 or 15 weeks old right now, but in either case, she is still a young puppy and needs a lot of supervision.  Keep her in the crate anytime you can't watch her - mainly to help with the housetraining.  My guess is that you are familiar with crate training, and being consistent with that is the best way to teach her where to eliminate.  If you aren't familiar with it, write back and I can help some more.

Are you actually feeding her lamb and rice, or lamb and rice kibble?  Puppy digestive systems can be a little sensitive, and not completely digest things, but this is normal.  Unfortunately, this can cause things to be a little more fragrant than you might like.  There is no reason to bathe her more than once about every 6 months, actually it helps if you don't go more than that (there's some oils in the fur that help the dog out).  If you are noticing strong smells from the dog though, it may be a sign of problems, so I would suggest a vet visit.

As for greeting people - don't worry about it.  At this age, the puppy is still becoming accustomed to the environment, and will go through plenty of changes in comfort level with people over the next few months.
