Question
my husky never bite me/nip me before her surgery.  She is almost nine months old.  She recently got fixed. She was my walking/jogging buddy since we got her at two months old.  She enjoyed our runs until the surgery.  She nows acts out during our walks, she runs in circles and out of control.  People will stop to ask if i need help because she is acting crazy.  Why is that?  Is it because of the surgery?  Is it because of her age?  Is it because i was the one who left her at the vet for the surgery?  Is it from wearing the cone?  She was depressed the entire time she had to wear the cone and remained in her cage.  She did not want to do anything while she was healing.  Help me because i do not want to give her away but will if she con't to nip me or act wild.  She was a great dog before the surgery.  BTW: How long before i get rid of the huge cage in the middle of the house?  When can she be trusted to spend the day at home without being in the cage?

Answer
She probably has a whole lot of pent up energy because of wearing the cone. I am sure you would act a little bit nutty also after getting something like that off your head because you are so happy.

She is also on a second rebellous faze right now becaue of her age. I wouldn't say it was because she is spayed.

Here is an artical to help you out. (other wise I will be typing forever lol
