My 9 month old husky wont stop messing!

Question
QUESTION: I have a 9 month old female pup. She is normally well behaved and is cage trained. She is in her cage when we are at work and at night when we are asleep and never messes her cage. I normally get up at 6 am, let her out, take her for a long walk then come home and shower. When I get out the shower there is poo and pee everywhere, even though she has just been out. Is it abandonment? Is she angry at me? It is driving us up the wall. She seems to go through stages of doing it and not doing it, and when she has, she knows she has done wrong!

Please help!

ANSWER: Sounds like she is mad to me. Making a mess makes you stay longer. Can you leave her outside till you leave?

QUESTION: Not really. We can put her on the balcony but we live in an apartment. Recently we have been putting her cage at the balcony doors so she can be on the balcony or in the cage. If there is a tray down she will always use the tray but she has not needed one for so long! She is cage trained well. It is driving my boyfriend up the wall and he is threatening to give her away! (am sure it is an empty threat :o) )
What do we do when she makes the mess? Make sure she knows its wrong, ignore it, ignore her?

Thank you

Answer
I would ignore her. When you take a shower bring her into the bathroom with you so you can keep peeking out at her.  If you catch her doing it she will stop. She doesn't want to be in trouble just wants more attention. I am sure if you keep her close like that she will be less likely to do it.
