Hi. My brother has a purebred sibe, he got it from a friend the dog is full grown. when the dog is kept outside while my brother works all he does is howl, is there anything that can be done to help ease his anxiety of being left alone, he is normally kept indoors when he is home, but he has to put him outdoors while he works cause he is to distructive in the house when left alone... any suggestions the neighbors are starting to complain of the howling.....

I would suggest crate training the dog to keep it inside while away at work.  Siberians howl for a lot of reasons, but boredom or loneliness are the two main ones.  If you can alleviate boredom (provide entertainment and games while away, or encourage the dog to sleep by making sure he is good and tired) that will help.  Another dog can also help with loneliness, but keep in mind that Sibes will howl in play too.

Unfortunately, while the Siberian can't really bark, they aren't quite dogs.
