6 month old husky mix - adult height?

Question
Hi, I have a female pup that's about six months old (born April 15), weighs almost 40 pounds, and is 20.5-21 inches at the shoulder.  Her father was a Border Collie and her mother was a Siberian Husky (with possibly a little something else thrown in).  You can see both the husky and the collie, and sometimes even German Shepherd in her ears and the way she stands.

Anyway, her body (torso?) is super-lean and BIG, but her legs seem kinda short.  I know she's just a pup and she's still growing (she's got a good bit of extra skin still) and I really don't care how she ends up - she's way too sweet to care.

I suppose what I'm asking is this - first, how much taller would you expect her to get?  She's my first puppy so I don't have a lot of experience with guessing adult size.  From what I've read, at six months she's probably about 75% of her adult height.  However, the husky standard says a female should be 20-22 inches, and the border collie one says 19-21.  I know dogs vary (esp. border collies) but this much?  If the 75% is true then she could be up to 26-27 inches full grown!
In your opinion, would you expect her to grow that tall?  Her legs look a little disproportionate (esp. her paws, which are really tiny - also, I'm told, a collie trait) so I'm kinda hoping they grow a little.

Also, she's a very lean 37-40 pounds so what would you expect her final weight to be?  We were expecting 40-45 as an adult, but it seems that ship has sailed.  So 50?  55?

I know it's hard to guess mixed breed heights and weights, so I guess what I'm asking for is a second opinion from someone that has experience with dogs (and isn't just a 'well, her paws are small...')

If it helps at all, she has a Bernese Mountain Dog pal the same age who's also a female and is only about an inch taller.

Anyway, any help you can give me, even if it's just an educated guess, would be wonderful.
Thanks so much.  =)  I appreciate your time.

Answer
Always tough to tell without seeing the dog, but I can give this as an opinion.  When you mix breeds, you should expect the following:

1) A trait like either of the two parent dogs.  If we are talking height - either the height of the Siberian OR the Border Collie
2) A trait in between the the two parents.
3) A trait that is NEITHER.

It's not uncommon for mixed breeds to end up bigger than both parents, and has to do with the selective breeding that got them to their respective sizes.  So, don't be too shocked at the size.

You are also right that most dogs at this age are about 75% full grown, although dogs hit growth spurts in different ways at different ages.  There's a chance the dog is done growing in height, and might just pick up an inch or so but more bulk.  There's also a chance that she is just getting started!  My guess is that she'll probably end up around 25" or so (so I'm right with you).  Weight is tough to say, but I would guess she'll probably bulk up a bit to at least 50, but I'd lean more toward about 60 lbs. or so as dogs usually pick up weight until about 18 months or so, so she's got another 12+ months of that.

As for the Berner friend, not too suprising.  A lot of the larger breeds actually keep pace with their smaller cousins in development until around this age.  The growth spurts that get a dog to their size at 6 months or so just don't seem to stop with some of the larger breeds.  Giant breeds (Great Danes, Tibetan Mastiffs, Wolfhounds, etc.) are usually much larger by this age, but Berner's aren't "giants" so they aren't much bigger right away.

Hope it helps some!!!!
