weight for a mini bulldog

We recently bought a mini english bulldog from a breeder. She assures us that he is. His mother weighed 29lbs and father weighed 38lbs. They breed the smallest of the litter to smallest (runts) to get the mini english bulldog. He is about 17 weeks and must be at least 26lbs is this average for a regular bulldog. Danielle

These people are just cashing in on the popularity of the Bulldog. Why would anyone breed a smaller Bulldog when the breed as it stands has so many problems because it has already been reduced to ruin? This infuriates me.

Your puppy isn't going to be "mini". It's going to be the size of a standard Bulldog. The male I use is 45 lbs. I feel badly when people get a con job but on the other hand, let the buyer beware.
