4 mo. old American with allergies...

Question
Hi.  I have a four month old American Bulldog who is just an amazing pet.  I love her more than anything in this world, but am afraid I may have to give her up.  About two months about, she developed a really bad rash.  I took her to the vet, who said it was Staph, and gave her antibiotics.  This did not help and after three weeks of antibiotics, she was still itching like crazy and making herself bleed.  She has been to the vet (two different ones) twice since then and they all say she is too young to tell what type of allergy she has and have not really helped me at all.  She is on benadryl (or claritin or zyrtec) daily, which doesn't really seem to lessen the itching much at all.  She has now developed a bad cold with yellow snot in her nose and some sneezing.  The vet said just give her benadryl for this.
My main question is, I am someone who just graduated from college, just moved into my own place with rent and bills to pay and am honestly just having to face the cold, hard facts that I may not be able to afford this dog.  Even after the expensive allergy testing, I will most likely have to keep her on an expensive dog food (if it's a food allergy) or give her medication or shots on a regular basis which will also add up.
Can you please give me any advice on the costs of these things.  And also, the vet said she was too young to be tested yet...how old does she have to be?  How long will we have to put up with her being miserable before we can find her a cure?
She has made tons of scabs and bloody spots all over her feet, arms, and belly.
Like I said, I love this dog more than anything, but honestly, how much will vet bills run per year with a dog who may have a food or environmental allergy?  I at least want to make sure she lives with someone who CAN take care of her properly and maintain her health if I cannot afford it.
Thanks for any help or advice you have for us.

Answer

I take NuVET each day
Hi - I am Glad you contacted me.  Yes, I can help this pup!  No more shots and expensive antibiotics from the vet, if we can help it....  Always keep you vet updated on food changes and supplements.... ( I am not a Vet - so we need to keep the vet informed)
SEE here - Easy and low cost -

Let's consider it is Environmental allergies right now.  You can keep feeding the food you are currently feeding and mix it with another.
The food I would like you to look for is Called " Solid Gold's BARKING at the MOON dog food - dry.
Please give her a 50:50 mix of the old food and the NEW food for 30 days.
Then, go to the new food.  100%

If you can't find Solid Gold BARKING - then get the Innova PUPPY food in it's place.

NEXT - Please get some Probiotics into this kid - Give 1/2 cup per day of the ACTIVIA brand of yogurt / van or plain is fine.  Give this for about 3 weeks.  AFTER 3 weeks go to 1/2 cup every other day for 2 more weeks.  This will help the STAPH and get rid of the EXCESSIVE yeast in the skin and blood stream.

Last : NuVET wafer supplement - This is the BEST you can give our AM bullie...
1000s and 1000s of bullie breeds take 1-2 NuVETs per day .... You baby can have 1/2 to 1 per day - depends on her weight.
A 30 day supply is 20.00  ( PLUS ask for the 15% off Program)
 60 days is   39.00

If you follow my program, we have a good chance of fixing all the mess your pup appears to be in.
Also, If you want, have the NuVET folks send you the Tea tree oil hot spot shampoo....
VERY soothing and about 10.00 per bottle.  All you need is a quarter size in the palm of your hand and wash your pup.  Use this only 3 x per month.  Too much bathing will dry out the skin.

I am willing to work with you.
Please contact me thru my private e-mail with updates....
I love to hear from my clients every 3-5 weeks.
