companion for a 10-month old bullie

Greetings, Winston is 10 months old, and we are considering
getting him a lady friend. How long can we wait, before he gets
spoiled and resents having a companion?

The fact that you're asking this question indicates to me that he's already spoiled! If you intend to breed Bulldogs, find a breeder who will mentor you. If you just want another Bulldog and a friend for Winston, have him neutered before you bring in another dog, especially a female.  Males are generally very accepting of puppies assuming he's been well socialized up to this point.
