He has uti like every month. could this be the problem or could meds be doing something? anything would help. thanks

Answer
Christina,

First, I haven't seen your dog or medical records, so I will not be able to give specific answers about your dogs problems.  But I can give you some general info.  You vet may have more reasons for the three medications that I am not aware of.

I believe that dogs (and humans) are given way to many antibiotics. Antibiotics are great when really needed, but if possible, it is much better for the body to heal on its own.

Too many antibiotics can start causing other problems.

I don't know what the three different medications your dog is taking, so I don't know if that is what could be causing the problem.

But I can tell from the fact that he is having so many infections that he has a weak immune system.  Anything you can do to strengthen his immune system would be great.

I just treated a sinus infection (for myself) by taking cloves of garlic.  You could try that with your bulldog.  Garlic is also great to take when antibiotics have been overused.

I think first you should check with your vet.  Then I would start him on some immune boosting things like garlic.  And try to limit your use of antibiotics.
