Question
Hi M, I rescued a 2yr old olde english bulldoggee. She came to us eating nutro max beef I changed her food to canidae all stages. Wow what a change the scratching and biting at her skin is almost gone. Her stool however though better I feel should be smaller and firmer. I am considering the nuvet plus for her allergies which are red, very watery eyes and very large tear stains. Will this help with her stool? or should I try the canidae lamb? I'm interested in leaning how to research and learn more about how to pick the correct balance of ingredients. For a firmer smaller stool does she need more or less protein, fiber, carbs etc... Help I'm in research overload. Thanks for your time It's appreciated.

Answer
Hi Robin - I love English bullies and Olde English.... too!
Well, if you don't mind, I would love to help you make some changes..
First off:
1.  Please switch her slowly over to Innova EVO or Wellness Core ( both foods are grain free:  Or you can do the SoJO food - and add some lightly cooked fresh meat...SoJos is delivered right to your door and free shipping.
If you buy the SoJO - do the grain free formula...
see here:
One more thing:  a good food : no grain : you just add some lightly cooked meat is SoJO and this can be send to your Door / FREE shipping and a MONEY back guarantee.

Make sure you pick the one that is grain-free /  they have 3 kinds to choose from / YOU want the grain free only.

Using a grain free formula - great for allergy dogs and smaller / firmer stools.

Do a 50/50 mix of the Canidae and the New food that you choose.
Do this mix for at least 3 weeks....Then, make the change over to the new 100% grain free food:  ( Innova, Wellness, or SoJo )

2.  YES, Give your kid some NuVET Plus - 2 Wafers per day will help with allergies/ And RE-build the immune system... ( give this LONG term at 2 per day )...
I am sure your kid has Environmental Allergies as well as the food allergies.  NuVET will help take care of both Allergies...
It will also help with Tear Stains....
I can also help with a cleaner for tear stains/ that you make at home... it is a natural recipe for this problem...

Back to the NuVET - and Salmon oil, too...

First off - give 1-2 tablespoons per day of PURE salmon oil - you can get this at the local pet store... Make sure it is the pure one.
You can also order it on-line from the "yummy chummies" people in Alaska... This will help the joints  / coat - you may see results in less than 3 weeks.    ( must mix into the food)

NEXT - Please call today and order NuVET Plus Wafers ... This is excellent and again, guaranteed or your money back: Sure worth taking the 60 day challenge...
AGAIN safe... YOU should see results in Less than 3 weeks if you follow my instructions.
Supplements do take a little time to build a blood level.

Call 1-800-474-7044  ( Tell them you have Order code 81098 and ask how you can get the 15% off discount) Mention my name as your VET or Pet Professional :  Marie Peppers /ASK the Pet Nurse from All EXPERTS.

Here is the link to look at the NuVET---
Make sure you do CALL in the First order FOR FASTER service.
Make sure you write down the order code : 81098 / Ask you need a referral from a VET or Breeder.
This is the manufacturer and they sell it much less than the VET would see this to you.

You are wanting to order 180 count of NuVET Wafers Or they do sell 90 counts/  If you go on auto ship they will give you 15% Off...
I believe the 60 count bottle is 39.00
and a 90 count is 55.00
YOU may want the 180 count bottle.... Ask about the 15% OFF.

You asked about how to pick ingredients- If you go to the SoJO site: the show the ingredients that are in the grain free - that is what you need for a healthy dog...( healthy allergy dogs)
You can also look at the Wellness Core - see what they put in the food/ Wonderful ....and no junk like all the Corns and grains.
A small amount of grain is ok for most dogs.
Grains also lead to kidney stones and disease in dogs and cats.

I would be glad to work with you.  As time goes by we could add a few more natural supplements and oils.

I like to start out slowly...
HOPE you decide to go GRAIN FREE and NuVET too.
