Ponchos Diet

We have recently put our mini English Bulldog on a homemade diet. I'm worried that he's not getting all of his nutrients. He weighs almost 40.  I've looked all over the Internet, and the best I found was for a basic Bulldog. My question is will that diet be aright or do I need to find a specific diet for his breed. What kind of diet would you suggest? How many times a day do I need to feed him?

There's not a breed specific diet that I'm aware of. I've never been a big fan of home made or raw diets for just the concern you express. What is enough and is he getting all required nutrients.

I do like the high quality natural diets available today such as Innova and Wellness.  You didn't mention the age of your dog, but for a mini, 40 lbs. is a lot. If he's between 4 and 8 months old he should be eating twice a day and if over that, once a day is enough.
