Question
We have a 14 week old female English bulldog. She bites a lot! Do you know any way to curb this habit (whether it is playfulness or just teething, it sure is painful

Answer
Puppies only frame of reference when it comes to social behavior is what they learn from their siblings, biting, growling and playing rough. It's up to you to teach her acceptable social behavior with humans.

When she bites, grab her by the scruff of the neck and shake her HARD, if he cries, that's ok. This is accompanied by a resounding "NO BITE". This is how a mother dog would discipline a puppy. Then give her one of her own toys to bite or chew on immediately after.
