bulldog skin

My English bulldog has a patch on both sides of her body where she no longer has much hair.  I took her to a vet and he tested her and said she has no skin problems.  Is there another common reason she may be loosing her hair?

Test her for thyroid function. The test is called T3/T4. If it comes back normal, chances are she has what's called seasonal alopecia. The hair may thin in the winter and be fine in the summer or vise versa. If it's this way year round, it's probably hypothyroidism.
