Relief for English Bulldog

Question

Winnie
Our bulldog, Winston, contstantly scratches his ears, face and shakes his head.  His skin often has a pink undertone to it.  We've taken him to the vet over the years (he's almost 5) and we're always told the same thing-- that he has allergies.  We've been given a prescription of Simplicef and Predinsone.  It does seem to work and give him some relief, but it is hard on his kidneys and he often has accidents while taking it.  However, the last time we went to pick up medicine we were given Cipro and that did help, so maybe it's not allergies?  The only dogfood he won't throw up is Eukanuba, so we give him that.  He does not have any hot spots or sores on him.  Just contstant scratching and head shaking.  He sleeps in our room at night and wakes me up several times.  We love him and just want to give him some relief, plus I need to get some sleep.  Benadryl doesn't seem to do much for him and the prescriptions are very expensive and may be harming him long-term.  Do you have any suggestions?

I love Winnie's photo!!! What a cute little boy - big boy!
Yes, the steroids can hurt the liver when given long term.
I know the problem is the corns in the Eukanuba dog food -
I am 90 % sure it is one of the problems.... The other may be some environmental allergies.

I would like to see you try the following:

Eukanuba in the am feeding and SoJo Grain free in the PM.
After about 4 Weeks - then drop the Eukanuba and do SoJo 2 x per day.
SoJo - the green bag - takes a little work on your part:  SoJo is a mix and you add your own lightly cooked meats...( I would try ground lamb or ground chicken to start with )
Later on you can try other meats......
YOU will cook all the meats - no raw for your boy.

Sojo is sold all over the world or here:

Also, I would love to see your Boy take 1 NuVET wafer per day -
NuVET helps to fight off the allergens that are hitting your pet.
It is also an Immune system booster and skin healer...
Stop the itchies...( within 2 weeks you will see some changes in your boy)
You may want to start him off on 2 NuVET wafers per day for 10 days and then drop down to 1 per day...

They sell it in a 60 count bottle ( 39.00)
90 count bottle is about (55.00)
Also a very small 30 coutnt is only (19.95)

A NEW grain free food - I bet he can digest the SoJo - just do more meat and Less SoJo mix - after a few weeks start giving the full amount of sojo for his age and weight.
You will feed MUCH LESS of SoJo and his poops will be much Smaller.
A bonus!!!!
