chicken based food

Question
You stated in a previous post to stay away from chicken based for bulldogs.. Why is that? I thought that was better for them?

Answer
I believe I said to stay clear of lamb based foods because they cause excessive gas. I've not had good luck with it in that it causes loose stools and poor coats.  I use chicken based food with my own dogs. There's nothing particular wrong with Lamb except for the after effects.
