english bullgad stud service

I have a one year old brindle colored english bulldog and have been approached about stud services... What age can you start using a male english bullgad for stud service? How much does it usually cost? ... and how often can it be done?

You are aware that all breedings are done artificially I assume. This means you would have to "collect" the semen from your male and take it to the vet who is going to perform the procedure, or you could take the male with the female to the vet and let him do the entire thing. The price would depend upon how much all this is going to cost you and then the service is generally $500.  Usually a stud service includes two breedings a day apart.

You can use the dog as often as once a month but I wouldn't recommend more than that. I hope you've considered the downside to this, such as your male marking in the house, aggressive behavior toward other males, etc.  It's not a good idea to use a male before he's 18 months of age. Also, if the person collecting the dog isnt' patient with a young male, it will ruin him forever.
