I think we may be pregnant...

Hello,  OK let me start by saying i have a 3 year old male bulldog whom we have studded out twice (both virgins)and both times he managed natural without assistance.  We decided to purchase a female over a year ago.  My female is 13 months. She went into heat approx 6 weeks ago and we would take turns kenneling them (to be fair)but if we were not around they were both in the kennel (just to be safe).  There was never a time they were left unsupervised alone together (unless it was on hubby's watch n he doesnt want to say) because we obviously didn't want to breed her for another year.  WELL we think they may have gotten together THROUGH the kennel (wire)because she is getting huge and she now has these big protruding nipples (no milk that i can tell yet).  I guess my question is do you think this could have happened or do you think she is in false?

I think it's highly unlikely that she is pregnant but stranger things have happened. You can always have a blood test which will tell you for sure, or you can have an xray done within a week or so from what you assume might be her due date.  I would get the blood test done now so you can prepare for puppies if they're coming.
