dry vs wet food

Question
our bulldog is just over 2 yrs old, like many bulldogs she has sensitive skin and gets minor rashes sometimes. we have been feeding her California natural herring and sweet potatoe dry food for about a year with a couple of squirts of fish oil every morning. her treats are also California natural sweet potatoe and herring. is there an general advantage to using wet food instead of dry food? do most people just use dry out of cenvenience? if one could use wet should they?

thanks for the help

Answer
Hello Mario - Looks like you are doing a good job with her feeding.  Wet/ canned food is not a big need in a canine.  It is very important in felines because of the added moisture and it aides the  kidney health.

So, the answer is no.
There is no need to feed wet/canned food to your dog.

The brand you are feeding makes a nice wet food. YOU can get a can of this and add a few tablespoons on top..... for a special treat a few times per week.

A wonderful doggie vitamin is here:
