Question
QUESTION: HI im having a lot of trouble with my bulldog.
I was givin the dog when he was 5 months old. He hasn't had a real home or anyone able to devote there full time him. I've notice that when i take him on walks he'll have a b-Movement(BM) as he's walking. This happens around the house as well he'll just go without giving me some sort of sign. He doesnt lift his leg or try to sniff around to find a spot he just goes. Sometimes after waking up from a nap he'll just pee on the spot wont make an attempt to move or get up before doing so. I've taken him to a vet, but he just said he wasn't sure what the problem was(not very much help). Is there anything i can do to help him or fix the problem? Also i was going to take him to another Vet to get a second opinion. Any specific questions i should ask him. Maybe things he could look for. I thought of a few i just need some help. Realy worried. Thanks for your time.

ANSWER: Hello Hector Well, the poop situation may because of the food you are feeding.  How about we make some nutritional changes with this kid.  Also, some Cranberry supplements will help his bladder health.
Bullies are not easy to potty train...

Number ONE:
Let's get this kid onto a good food : I sure do like Innova EVO for pups or Wellness Formula for PUPS / MIX the food you use now and the NEW puppy food ( a 50:50 MIX) FOR ABOUT  3 weeks...
After that go to 100 % the new food.

Number TWO
Also, I would like you to give him 1 Tablespoon of canned pure pumpkin ( no added sugar) - give this daily for about 3 weeks.
Good for his intestines....

And THREE:

Also, go to the health store and buy some Cranberry tablets - The kind for humans - give him 1 per day . ..... This will help to avoid urinary problems...( hide it in some cheese or some canned WET dog food)

Last : NuVET makes a wonderful Bullie Vitamin/ immune system booster...
Give this boy 1 NuVET wafer per day : Will give him some muscle/ bulk and helps with digestion.... JUST an over-all Wonderful Bullie Vitamin....
here is the info to order NuVET wafers:

Ok, if you make the changes----- you may see a dog that can be trained in a week or two.  I am sure the food you have been feeding had too much GRAINS ...that may be why he was pooping when walking.

Good Luck

QUESTION: Thank you so much for everything. Also thanks for the quick response.
Did you want me to give him the canned pure pumpkin, Cranberry tablets and the NuVet wafers daily? Or did you want me to pick one or the other to give to him daily?

ANSWER: Yes, 1 NuVET wafer per day - Long term
1 cranberry tablet per day ( hide in some cheese) - short term
Canned pure pumpkin ( no added sugar ) 1 small amount per day .... see how it goes and if it helps firm up the poops.

QUESTION: The brand is royal canin, for bulldogs. It's what the previous owner was feeding him. I didn't know if i should change up diet.

Answer
Hi - Yes, the brand Royal Canin is full of fillers...For the price it is a poor food.  Too much junk in it...
Sorry, I just knew he was getting too much corns in his commercial food.
Please look for one of the grain free I mentioned above...
OK>>>>???
It will make a world of deference for your bullie boy.
